YSRCP Launches Campaign for Ramachandrapuram Municipal Elections

The YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) has officially kicked off its campaign for the upcoming Ramachandrapuram Municipal Council elections in Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district, marking the beginning of its grassroots outreach ahead of the civic polls.

The campaign was launched on Sunday evening with a public programme titled 'Municipal Election Shankharavam' in the 6th Ward of Seelamvari Savaram. The event was led by Pilli Suryaprakash, the party's Ramachandrapuram Assembly constituency coordinator, and witnessed the participation of senior party leaders, elected representatives and a large number of cadres.

Among those present were former Rajya Sabha MP Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose, Pilli Suryaprakash, local leaders, office-bearers of the party's affiliated wings, public representatives and supporters. Following the inaugural event, party workers launched the 'Gadapa Gadapaku YSR' outreach programme, visiting households across the area to interact directly with residents.

During the door-to-door campaign, YSRCP leaders accused the state coalition government of failing to fulfil the promises it had made during the elections. They also highlighted several local concerns, including delays in development works and shortcomings in the implementation of welfare schemes.

As part of the campaign, party workers distributed pamphlets detailing what they described as the government's failures while explaining YSRCP's stand on local governance and public welfare.

Addressing residents, the leaders said the YSR Congress Party remains committed to the welfare and development of the people. They appealed to voters to support and elect the party's candidates in the forthcoming municipal elections.

The campaign programme drew enthusiastic participation from local leaders, women activists, youth wing representatives, party workers and supporters, reflecting the party's efforts to strengthen its presence at the grassroots level ahead of the civic polls.
