YS Jagan retains unwavering popularity, says Sajjal Ramakrishna Reddy

Former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy celebrated his 53rd birthday in grand style at the party office in Tadepalli, with leaders and supporters paying tribute to his leadership and achievements.

YSRCP State Coordinator Sajjal Ramakrishna Reddy praised Jagan, saying that his remarkable governance has transformed people’s lives and that even without the party in power, his popularity among the public remains undiminished. The celebrations began with floral tributes to the statue of the late YS Rajasekhara Reddy, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony with party leaders. Clothes were distributed to the poor, and a blood donation camp was inaugurated at the venue.

Sajjal Ramakrishna Reddy described Jagan as a leader admired by millions of Telugu people and someone who has made a lasting impact through his governance. “After the late YS Rajasekhara Reddy, YS Jagan stands out as a leader whose policies have reshaped lives. Even after losing power, people recognize the progress achieved under his five-year rule,” he said.

He highlighted Jagan’s focus on fulfilling promises responsibly, implementing welfare schemes without discrimination, and delivering results beyond what was pledged. “YS Jagan has shown that leadership is not about empty promises but about action. That is why YSRCP programs continue to draw overwhelming public support,” he added.

YS Jagan is regarded as one of India’s most people-friendly leaders, said MLC Murugudu Hanumanth Rao. During his five-year tenure, Jagan implemented numerous welfare programs that supported families across all communities, religions, and social backgrounds. “We hope he continues to celebrate many more birthdays and provide services to the most vulnerable sections of society,” Rao added.

The birthday celebrations were attended by senior party leaders, including former minister Velampalli Srinivas, MLAs Lella Appireddy, Murugudu Hanumanth Rao, Kalpala Tarareddy, and Vijayawada Mayor Rayan Bhagyalakshmi, among others.
