Yellow Storm at Chepauk: Urvil Patel's Carnage Smashes CSK to a 5-Wicket Win Over LSG

Chennai Super Kings pulled off a stunning chase at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Sunday, hunting down Lucknow Super Giants’ imposing total of 203/8 with five wickets in hand and four balls to spare in a breathless IPL 2026 clash.

LSG had set the tone early, thanks largely to Josh Inglis , who blazed his way to 85 off just 33 balls , a knock laced with 10 fours and 6 sixes that left the CSK bowlers searching for answers. Jamie Overton was the pick of the CSK attack with 3 wickets , while Anshul Kamboj chipped in with 2 , but LSG still surged to a daunting total, with Shahbaz Ahmed adding a valuable 43 at the death.

What followed in the CSK chase was nothing short of extraordinary. Urvil Patel walked in at number three and unleashed absolute carnage, 65 runs off just 23 balls , hammering 8 sixes in a blistering stay that turned the match on its head.
