Kannada star Yash’s much-anticipated action drama Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is gearing up for a grand theatrical release on June 4, positioning itself as one of the biggest attractions of the upcoming release calendar. The film has already been granted an A (Adults Only) certification, indicating intense action and mature themes.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the period action gangster drama features Yash in a dual role. The film also stars Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth, and Resad Ajim in key roles, forming a pan-Indian ensemble.

The project is jointly produced by Yash and Venkat K. Narayana under their banners, KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. Notably, the film has been simultaneously shot in Kannada and English, reflecting its global ambitions.

With an estimated budget of ₹ 600–700 crore, Toxic is being positioned as the most expensive Indian film ever made, underscoring the scale and expectations surrounding the project.

Trade analysts point to strong pre-release buzz for Toxic , with the film already crossing 500,000 user interests on BookMyShow. With growing anticipation, a star-studded cast, and record-scale production, the film is expected to set the tone for the mid-year box office, with significant milestones anticipated following its June release.
