Yash Turns Up the Heat for ‘Toxic’ With ‘Aap Ki Adalat’ Appearance and Mega Promo Push
Actor Yash is stepping up promotions for his much-awaited film “Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups”, with the makers mounting a multi-platform campaign ahead of its August 26 release.
As part of the promotional drive, Yash recently appeared on the long-running television talk show “Aap Ki Adalat”, where he discussed the making of the film and offered insights into the project. The appearance is expected to further strengthen the film’s reach, particularly among Hindi-speaking audiences.
The promotional campaign will gather further momentum with the release of the film’s soundtrack by Vishal Mishra on August 13. A social media takeover at 7 PM is also planned, adding another digital push to the film’s publicity.
The makers have also introduced fan edit contests, with prizes of up to ₹5,000, encouraging audiences to create and share their own content around the film. Meanwhile, eye-catching “Toxic” visuals have appeared across Bengaluru Metro, giving the film a prominent physical presence in the city.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, “Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups” features Yash in the lead, alongside a star-studded ensemble that includes Nayanthara and Kiara Advani. The film is positioned as a story exploring power and its consequences, adding a darker thematic layer to its promotional appeal.
The film has also begun generating interest in international markets. Its US advance sales have already reached around USD 70,000, indicating early audience interest ahead of its theatrical release.
With its television appearances, music launch, social-media activities, fan engagement initiatives and large-scale outdoor promotions, the campaign is building anticipation for “Toxic” across multiple audience segments as the film heads toward its August 26 theatrical release.
