Yash is now the face of Philips’ men’s grooming range. The actor has joined the brand as ambassador and stars in its new ‘Trimmers Ka Baap’ campaign, launched on August 15, just days before Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups hits theatres on August 26.

The partnership has an interesting backstory. Earlier this year, fans spotted Yash using a Philips trimmer in behind the scenes content from Toxic. The sighting led to online chatter. What looked like a small fan discovery has now turned into an official brand deal.

Philips has also come on board as the film’s Official Grooming Partner. The association brings the actor’s film and the grooming brand together ahead of the worldwide release.

The new ad is designed to look like a movie scene. Some viewers initially thought they were watching footage from Toxic, before the film revealed itself as a Philips commercial. That cinematic style has helped the campaign gain attention online.

The campaign plays directly into Yash’s signature beard look. Philips says its All-in-One Trimmer uses BeardSense Technology to scan beard density 125 times every second and adjust power across thicker and finer areas. The aim is an even trim and a sharp finish.

Yash has also spoken about the partnership, saying he had trusted Philips for his grooming even before the brand association was discussed. He said the partnership felt like a natural next step because he values consistency and performance in grooming products.

The campaign will go beyond social media. Philips plans to take it across digital, cinema, OTT, outdoor advertising, retail and experiential platforms.
