Yash Drops New Toxic Poster, Trailer Launch Event Set In Bengaluru On August 8

The countdown for Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown Ups has officially begun. After multiple postponements, Yash's most awaited gangster action drama is finally gearing up for its worldwide theatrical release on August 26, and the makers have now unveiled the film's biggest update yet. Riding on the buzz created by the "Ladies & Ladies" glimpse and the chartbuster "Tabaahi", Toxic has once again become the talk of the town.

The makers have announced that the official theatrical trailer will be unveiled on August 8 at a grand launch event in Bengaluru, where the film's cast and crew are expected to be present. Along with the announcement, they released a striking monochrome poster that perfectly captures the film's gritty world.

The poster features Yash standing alone on a rain soaked cobblestone street, dressed in a long overcoat and a wide brimmed hat, with his face hidden in the shadows. Holding a gun by his side as heavy rain pours down, he is illuminated only by a distant streetlight, creating a stylish noir inspired visual that hints at a mysterious and dangerous gangster. The bold "Trailer 8.8.26" text completes the haunting artwork, raising anticipation for the film's biggest promotional asset.

Written by Yash and directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic features a star studded ensemble including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth, Huma Qureshi, and Akshay Oberoi. The film has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English and will also release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam, making it a truly pan Indian spectacle.

Jointly produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, Toxic marks Yash's first release after the blockbuster KGF franchise. The trailer is now expected to offer the biggest glimpse yet into the dark and stylish world that Yash recently promised would leave audiences walking out of theatres saying, "What the hell was that?"
