Yash And Dil Raju To Join Forces For A Massive Pan Indian Film
Rocking Star Yash and leading Telugu producer Dil Raju are set to collaborate on a future film, marking an exciting potential cross industry combination between one of Kannada cinema’s biggest stars and one of Telugu cinema’s most prominent producers.
The development emerged during the Hyderabad pre-release event of Toxic, where Yash was present ahead of the film’s August 26 theatrical release. Dil Raju, whose Sri Venkateswara Creations is distributing Toxic in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, was asked about the possibility of working with Yash on a future project and responded positively.
However, the collaboration is still in its early stages. No title, director, genre, supporting cast or release date has been announced for the proposed Yash and Dil Raju project. Dil Raju has also indicated that Yash’s packed schedule could mean that the film takes some time to materialise.
The proposed partnership is particularly interesting because Yash has built a massive following in the Telugu states through the KGF franchise. His upcoming projects, including Ramayana and KGF Chapter 3, are also expected to keep him occupied, making his availability an important factor in determining when the collaboration can move forward.
The association between Yash and Dil Raju has already taken shape through Toxic. Earlier this year, Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations secured the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana distribution rights for the film in a reported ₹120 crore deal, described as a record acquisition for a non Telugu origin film in the region.
Dil Raju had previously expressed his admiration for Yash’s standing in Indian cinema, noting that the actor’s market had grown significantly following the success of KGF Chapter 2. The producer also indicated his desire to continue working with Yash on more films, making the latest development a natural extension of their existing association.
Meanwhile, Yash is currently focused on Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown Ups, directed by Geetu Mohandas. The film also stars Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Rukmini Vasanth, Huma Qureshi and Tara Sutaria and is scheduled to hit theatres on August 26.
