Indian judoka Yamini Mourya delivered one of the most spirited performances of the Commonwealth Games, battling relentlessly before settling for a silver medal after a dramatic golden-score defeat to England's Acelya Toprak in the women's 57kg final.

The summit clash turned into a gripping test of endurance, technique and mental strength as neither athlete managed to break the deadlock during regulation time.
