The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has unveiled the schedule for the fifth edition of the TATA Women's Premier League (WPL), with the tournament set to begin on January 14, 2027, in Vadodara. The competition will run until February 7, with 22 matches scheduled across Vadodara and Mumbai.

The opening match will see defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) take on former champions Mumbai Indians (MI) on January 14 at Vadodara. The first leg will feature 11 matches at the city’s Kotambi Stadium, with the Vadodara leg continuing until January 24.

The tournament will then move to Mumbai, where the remaining 11 matches will be played at the Brabourne Stadium, also known as the Cricket Club of India (CCI). The Mumbai leg will begin on January 26 and feature the remaining league-stage fixtures.

All 22 matches, including the knockout games, are scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM IST, giving fans an evening cricket schedule throughout the tournament.

The league stage will feature five franchises - RCB, Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Giants and UP Warriorz, competing for a place in the playoffs. The Eliminator will take place on February 5, followed by the final on February 7, both at Mumbai's Brabourne Stadium.

With the squads finalised following the player auction in Kochi on October 28, the franchises will now turn their attention to preparations for the new season. RCB will enter the competition as defending champions, while the other four teams will look to challenge their title defence.
