World Conclave 2025 spotlights startups, leadership and innovation

World Conclave 2025 , organised by the Global Triumph Foundation and The Business Ascent, was held at Vivanta by Taj in Bengaluru in December. The conclave brought together policymakers, business leaders, educators and entrepreneurs from across the country to deliberate on strengthening India’s business and education ecosystem.

A key highlight of the conclave was the launch of The Business Ascent , a new business magazine aimed at supporting start-ups and emerging entrepreneurs through knowledge-driven content. The publication is intended to provide practical insights into entrepreneurship, regulatory frameworks and market opportunities, while also highlighting India’s improving ease of doing business through coverage of policy reforms, digital governance initiatives and institutional support systems.

The conclave was attended by senior government and institutional leaders, including Shri A Padma Kumar, Deputy Inspector General of Police, CRPF, Mohammed Rafi Pasha, Deputy Commissioner of GST, Government of Karnataka, and Prof G Hemantha Kumar, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Mysore, reflecting strong participation from the public and academic sectors.

From the private sector, notable participants included Dr John Yesudhas , Tech Farming Scientist and CEO of IGO Group, and Dr Sanjeev Kumar Bansal, Director of Corporate Relations, Asian Arab Chamber of Commerce. Organisers said the event aimed to encourage dialogue between government, industry and academia to promote inclusive and sustainable growth.

The magazine also seeks to help entrepreneurs and small businesses better understand company financial reports by explaining balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements , cash flows and key financial indicators in a simplified manner. By doing so, it aims to promote informed decision-making and financial transparency among new and growing enterprises.

The conclave’s agenda included discussions on reimagining education for future generations and on leadership-driven innovation, reflecting the growing intersection between education, enterprise and technology. The event served as a platform for interaction between government representatives, academic leaders and private-sector professionals on fostering inclusive and sustainable growth.

Senior government officials, academic heads and prominent private-sector leaders attended the conclave, underscoring the collaborative approach required to nurture entrepreneurship and innovation in India. The event concluded with the recognition of achievers across education, business and women leadership categories.
