Women entrepreneurs’ exhibition makes grand debut in Hyd
Hyderabad witnessed a historic moment as the 38th edition of the Women Entrepreneurs’ Exhibition was hosted in the city for the very first time. Held at the Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre on September 27-28, the two-day event brought together inspiring women entrepreneurs from across India, showcasing the best in fashion, jewellery, lifestyle, and design.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Ms. Brahmani Nara, Executive Director of Heritage Foods Ltd., who praised the exhibition for promoting women-led businesses and encouraging innovation. Guest of Honour Ms. Swapna Dutt Chalasani, acclaimed film producer and co-founder of Swapna Cinema, added further inspiration by sharing her journey in cinema.
This year’s exhibition featured the striking Tree of Life as its central theme, symbolizing strength, growth, and resilience. Inspired by the legendary artist Raja Ravi Varma, whose work celebrated the grace and power of women, the decor served as a tribute to women who lead, nurture, and transform communities. The exhibition became a living canvas, highlighting women shaping the future through creativity and enterprise.
Indian Merchants’ Chamber (IMC) Ladies’ Wing President Ms. Rajyalakshmi Rao addressed the gathering, saying, “My presidential theme is ‘Evolve to Excel.’ True growth comes from adapting, learning, and rising higher. This exhibition reflects that spirit.” From its beginnings in Mumbai nearly four decades ago, the exhibition has grown into a platform that travels across India, celebrating the courage and brilliance of women entrepreneurs.
With over 100 curated stalls, visitors experienced a vibrant mix of timeless craftsmanship and bold contemporary designs. Each stall told a unique story, drawing enthusiastic crowds and making Hyderabad’s edition a resounding success.
The exhibition not only celebrated women’s creativity and business sense but also created meaningful opportunities for growth and networking. As the City of Pearls sparkled with enterprise, the Hyderabad debut of the Women Entrepreneurs’ Exhibition left a lasting impression, inspiring women and setting the stage for many more such landmark events across India.
