Ramoji Film City (RFC), one of India’s premier tourism and entertainment destinations, has launched its much-awaited Winter Festival, offering visitors a month-long celebration filled with lights, music, cinematic attractions, and festive cheer. The Winter Festival is being held from December 18 to January 18, transforming the sprawling film city into a vibrant carnival during the peak holiday season.

As part of the winter celebrations, the entire Ramoji Film City campus has been illuminated with decorative lighting, themed installations, and festive décor, creating a visually immersive experience for families, tourists, and film enthusiasts. One of the major attractions of the festival is the Musical Glow Garden, where synchronised lighting and music come together to create a magical ambience, especially during the evening hours.

Adding colour and energy to the celebrations is the Carnival Parade, which features themed floats, performers, dancers, and live entertainment. The parade, along with roaming attractions such as the DJ on Wheels, enhances the festive atmosphere across the film city and draws large crowds each evening.

The Winter Festival also serves as the backdrop for special New Year celebrations on December 31, continuing into the early hours of January 1. Based on Ramoji Film City’s established tradition and official announcements, this year’s New Year festivities are expected to follow the successful format of previous editions, combining entertainment, music, and gala experiences.

Key highlights of the New Year’s Eve celebrations include exclusive themed party zones, notably the popular ‘Red Velvet’ celebration at Sun Fountain and the ‘Thrill Blast’ party at Eureka. These events are expected to feature live DJ performances, Bollywood-style dance shows, comedy acts, international performers, and elaborate buffet dinners, offering visitors a premium New Year’s Eve experience within the film city.

Live DJ music, energetic dance performances, and interactive entertainment are expected to build up to the midnight countdown, creating a lively and celebratory environment for partygoers. Alongside the special New Year programmes, visitors will also have access to the Winter Festival attractions, including glow gardens, parades, film set tours, and amusement rides.

The period from December 18 to January 18 marks the official duration of the Winter Festival, during which all winter-themed attractions, entertainment programmes, and festive décor remain active. The festival runs daily from 9 am to 9 pm, making it one of the most comprehensive seasonal events in Hyderabad’s tourism calendar.

With a blend of cinematic charm, large-scale festive entertainment, and special New Year celebrations, Ramoji Film City’s Winter Festival continues to attract thousands of visitors, reaffirming its status as a major holiday destination in Telangana.
