We will clean up the filth in politics says AP CM

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu issued a stern warning against what he described as "rowdyism and heinous crimes," asserting that his government would not tolerate such acts. Speaking at a public meeting at the Prajavedika in Macherla, Palnadu district, he stated that the days of anarchy in the region are over.

He claimed that Macherla had previously been a place where democracy was suppressed and even he, as a leader, was prevented from visiting. "Now, anyone can come here freely," he said. Naidu also referenced his past efforts in "doing away with gangs in Rayalaseema" and warned those in Palnadu to be careful and not attack people.

The Chief Minister highlighted the immediate impact of his government's policies, stating that they have already implemented the "Super Six" schemes. He said that the administration has disbursed ₹12,000 crores directly to the public. He outlined key initiatives:

• Women & Youth Welfare: Introduced free bus travel for girls and implemented programs like "Talliki Vandanam," which provides financial support for mothers to aid their children's education.

• Farmers: Reassured farmers of support through the "Annadata Sukhibhav" program.

• Pensions & Jobs: Committed to distributing ₹34,000 crores annually in pensions and creating jobs. He noted that the government has already provided 16,000 jobs through DSC and aims to provide 10 lakh jobs in the future.

Naidu also credited the NDA governments at the state and center for reducing the prices of essential commodities through GST reforms, bringing a "real Dussehra and Diwali" to the people.

Focus on cleanliness and technology

Calling for a "Swachhandhra" (Clean Andhra), the CM announced several new initiatives. He criticized the previous government for imposing a "garbage tax" and leaving 85 lakh metric tons of waste on the roads. He vowed to remove this "legacy waste" by Gandhi Jayanti on October 2. The government will also introduce clean vehicles for door-to-door garbage collection and exchange old items for new essentials.

He announced a plan to make the state "plastic-free" and achieve 50% greenery by 2047, urging everyone to plant trees. "It is not enough to just remove garbage...we must also completely remove garbage from our minds," he stated, adding that his government would also "clean up garbage politics."

Ambitious development agenda

The Chief Minister shared an ambitious development agenda focused on increasing income for everyone. He spoke of the "WhatsApp Governance" initiative, which provides 730 services and the upcoming "Sanjeevani" program, which will provide ₹2.5 lakh general insurance and ₹25 lakh health insurance for the poor. He revealed that Bill Gates has agreed to provide technical assistance for the project.

Regarding infrastructure and agriculture, Naidu promised to complete the Polavaram project by 2027, ensuring irrigation and drinking water through river linkage. He mentioned a discussion with the Center to establish a chili board to support local farmers and encouraged them to adopt sustainable practices. Finally, he announced the sanction of a new 100-bed hospital for Macherla and promised to organize Palnadu festivals in a grand manner.
