Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd reported a more than twofold jump in its consolidated net profit to ₹116.34 crore for the quarter ended September 2025, compared to ₹53.51 crore in the same period last year. The remarkable performance was underpinned by higher revenues, robust project execution, and expansion into new energy verticals.

According to the company’s statement, Waaree achieved its highest-ever quarterly revenue and profit after tax (PAT) during the quarter, supported by favourable market conditions in India’s renewable energy sector. The company’s total revenue grew nearly 48% year-on-year to ₹774.78 crore from ₹524.47 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY24. The growth was attributed to strong execution capabilities, expanding customer base, and the company’s diversification into emerging segments such as Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and data centres, two areas gaining strategic importance in India’s evolving clean energy ecosystem.

Waaree’s order book remains strong, with unexecuted projects amounting to 3.48 GWp to be delivered over the next 12–15 months. The company also highlighted a robust bidding pipeline exceeding 27 GWp, indicating continued business momentum and a healthy project pipeline.

In line with its growth strategy, the company’s board has approved new capital expenditure (capex) for multiple solar power projects. This includes the establishment of two 14 MWp Independent Power Producer (IPP) solar plants Solapur, Nashik, or Dhule districts of Maharashtra, as well as a 37.5 MWp IPP solar project in Bikaner, Rajasthan. These investments reflect Waaree’s continued push to strengthen its presence in India’s renewable energy generation market while enhancing its capacity to meet growing demand from industrial and commercial consumers.

As a subsidiary of Waaree Energies Ltd, Waaree Renewable Technologies focuses on financing, constructing, owning, and operating solar energy projects across India and beyond. Its initiatives are aligned with India’s national goal of accelerating the transition toward sustainable energy and achieving the 500 GW renewable energy capacity target by 2030.

With robust financial performance, an expanding order pipeline, and increasing investments in solar and energy storage infrastructure, Waaree Renewable Technologies is well-positioned to play a pivotal role in shaping the country’s green energy landscape in the coming years.
