VP Radhakrishnan Releases Book ‘Sankalp Se Siddhi Ka Modi Yug’ on Modi Era
Vice President C P Radhakrishnan on Thursday released Sankalp Se Siddhi Ka Modi Yug, a book documenting the achievements and evolution of the Narendra Modi government over the past 12 years.
Authored by Rajya Sabha MP Ghanshyam Tiwari, the book examines the government's administrative achievements while also highlighting what it describes as an ideological renaissance during the period. Radhakrishnan said the publication presents India's journey in the broader context of the vision of Viksit Bharat at 2047.
Speaking at the book release, the Vice President described its title as carrying a powerful and inspiring message. He said the word 'sankalp' or resolve should not be understood as merely a wish or aspiration, but as a firm determination supported by dedication, hard work and discipline.
Radhakrishnan said the book seeks to present the country's transformation over the last 12 years by linking developments in governance with the ideas and ideals of prominent national thinkers. He noted that the publication draws connections with the contributions and philosophies of figures including Swami Vivekananda, Rabindranath Tagore, Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, V D Savarkar and Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
According to the Vice President, the book provides a perspective on India's contemporary governance while placing it within a wider intellectual and national framework. Its focus extends beyond policy and administrative accomplishments to examine the ideological influences that have shaped the country's political journey.
The publication comes as the government continues to frame its long-term development agenda around the goal of transforming India into a developed nation by 2047, coinciding with the centenary of Independence.
The book, through its account of the Modi government's 12-year tenure, attempts to connect governance, national thought and the country's development aspirations, offering readers an overview of the political and administrative journey during the period.
