Actor-filmmaker Vishwak Sen on Saturday unveiled the red-band teaser of his upcoming film CULT at a packed launch event held at Prasads PCX multiplex in Hyderabad, sending shockwaves through fans with its graphic and unapologetically violent visuals . Clocking in at 2 minutes and 33 seconds, the teaser presents a dark, blood-soaked narrative set against an underground party that spirals into chaos following a series of brutal stabbings triggered by a creepy pink toy.

Marketed as India’s first-ever slasher film , CULT marks a bold genre shift for Telugu cinema. The premise, which bears a stylistic resemblance to the survival-game format popularised by Squid Game , unfolds with a distinctly Telugu sensibility.
