Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma Join Krishna Das’ Kirtan in Mumbai, Videos Go Viral

Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and actor Anushka Sharma attended American musician Krishna Das’ kirtan in Mumbai on Sunday, with videos of the couple participating in the devotional gathering going viral on social media.

In one of the videos circulating online, Anushka is seen clapping and singing along to devotional chants, while Virat briefly looks towards the camera before turning his attention back to the music and joining in. The couple were also spotted arriving at the Gateway of India before attending the event.

The gathering was part of Krishna Das’ India tour, organised by Team Innovation Cultural. The musician recently performed in Delhi, where music lovers gathered to experience his devotional music. Following his Mumbai appearance, he is scheduled to perform in Pune on October 30, Ahmedabad on November 1 and Bengaluru on November 4.

This is not the first time Kohli and Anushka have attended a kirtan by Krishna Das. The couple also attended a service at Union Chapel in London in July 2026. They have frequently been seen visiting spiritual destinations and participating in religious gatherings in India and abroad.

Meanwhile, Kohli has continued to impress on the cricket field. The 37-year-old has scored 552 runs in nine ODI innings across nine matches this year, at an average of 69.00 and a strike rate of 117.94. His tally includes two centuries and three half-centuries, with a highest score of 139 not out.

During the recent ODI series against the West Indies, Kohli scored 168 runs in three innings. His performance included an unbeaten 139 off 88 balls in the opening match while chasing a target of 296.

Kohli remains the second-highest run-scorer in ODI cricket history, with 15,109 runs at an average of 58.78, including 55 centuries and 79 half-centuries. His highest score in the format is 183.

Kohli will next be in action in India's five-match ODI series against New Zealand, scheduled to begin on November 4.
