Vijayawada to host Christmas High Tea, CM Chandrababu to attend

The Andhra Pradesh government is making arrangements to host a Christmas High Tea programme in Vijayawada on December 22, as part of the advance celebrations for Christmas.

State Minister for Law and Minority Welfare, NMD Farooq, said the event will be held at an A-Plus Convention Centre in the city. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will attend the programme as the chief guest.

The minister reviewed the preparations with senior officials of the Minority Welfare Department at his camp office in Tadepalli. He instructed officials and staff to ensure smooth and error-free arrangements under the supervision of the NTR District Collector.

Senior officials from various minority-related institutions, including the Christian Finance Corporation, Minority Corporation, Wakf Board, Urdu Academy and Minority Commission, participated in the review meeting.
