Vijay Thalapathy’s son Jason Sanjay announces directorial debut ‘Sigma’ starring Sundeep Kishan

Jason Sanjay, son of Tamil superstar Vijay, is stepping into the film industry with his much-anticipated directorial debut titled Sigma . The film, produced by Lyca Productions, features actor Sundeep Kishan in the lead role and boasts music by acclaimed composer Thaman S.

The multilingual action thriller is said to be 95% complete and is being simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu. The first-look poster, released on Monday, shows Sundeep Kishan surrounded by gold bars and cash, with the intriguing tagline, “The quest begins.”

Jason Sanjay, who completed his filmmaking studies in Canada, has long expressed an interest in direction rather than acting following his father Vijay’s cinematic footsteps but carving his own path behind the camera. His debut has already drawn wide attention from fans and industry insiders, with over 126,000 engagements across social media platforms within hours of the announcement.

Sundeep Kishan, known for his diverse performances in films like Shor in the City , Venkatadri Express , Tenali Ramakrishna BA BL , and the recent action flick Captain Miller , adds star power to the project. His collaboration with a debutant director from one of Tamil cinema’s most celebrated families has further heightened expectations.
