Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna visited the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple on Tuesday, October 13, seeking blessings ahead of their upcoming film 'Ranabaali'. Videos of the actors being surrounded by fans after their temple visit have surfaced online, with Vijay seen holding Rashmika close and shielding her as their team escorted them towards a golf cart.

The couple, who were dressed in traditional attire, appeared cheerful during the visit. Vijay wore a white silk kurta and pancha, while Rashmika opted for a yellow silk saree paired with a contrasting pink blouse. Accompanied by their team and temple personnel, they reportedly had a relatively smooth darshan before crowds gathered around them outside.

As fans approached the actors for photographs and interactions, Vijay could be seen trying to protect Rashmika from the crowd. Despite the rush, the actress greeted some fans and shook hands with them. Videos also showed fans following their golf cart as security personnel and temple authorities attempted to manage the gathering.

The visit comes amid promotions for 'Ranabaali', directed by Rahul Sankrityan. Rashmika had missed the film's trailer launch in Hyderabad last week because of her shooting commitments in Mumbai. She later joined Vijay for promotional activities, including a meeting with Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay in Chennai on Monday evening.

Sharing photographs from the meeting, Vijay Deverakonda praised the chief minister for making time for them despite his busy schedule. Rashmika also shared pictures from the interaction, expressing her excitement about meeting the actor-turned-politician.

'Ranabaali' stars Vijay Deverakonda in the titular role, with Rashmika playing his wife, Jayamma. Set in the 19th century, the period drama explores the devastating famine associated with British colonial rule in India. Arnold Vosloo plays the antagonist.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and presented by T-Series Films, the film is scheduled to release in theatres on October 16. It will clash at the box office with Rajinikanth's 'Jailer 2', which is slated to arrive a day earlier, on October 15.
