Vidyanjali CSR Module Opens Doors for Corporates to Transform Schools
Over 160 school education projects in Maharashtra are currently awaiting participation from Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) partners , with the potential to support 16,700+ government schools and positively impact more than 4.5 crore students , according to the Vidyanjali CSR Module.
These projects focus on key areas of school development , including infrastructure improvements, digital learning initiatives, libraries, laboratories, and the creation of child-friendly and inclusive learning spaces .
The initiative, launched under the Ministry of Education’s Vidyanjali program , aims to connect government schools with companies and philanthropic organizations willing to contribute to education through their CSR funds.
Speaking about the program, a Ministry spokesperson said, “CSR partners have a unique opportunity to make a measurable impact on India’s school education system . By supporting these projects, they can help improve learning environments for millions of children.”
The coordination of these projects involves the state education department, school principals, NGOs, and CSR partners , ensuring transparent execution and tangible results. Companies can select projects through the Vidyanjali portal, fund them, and monitor their progress directly.
Experts note that with CSR contributions, the program can accelerate digital literacy, infrastructure development, and holistic child development , particularly in underserved areas.
Corporates are encouraged to explore available projects on the Vidyanjali portal and become active partners in shaping the future of India’s next generation.
