Venkatesh–Trivikram reunion sparks excitement as train set shoot begins

A fresh update from the sets of the much-anticipated film starring Venkatesh and director Trivikram Srinivas has set fans buzzing, as the duo reunites after a long gap for what promises to be a wholesome entertainer.

A striking black-and-white still from Annapurna Studios captures the actor and director in deep discussion inside a meticulously designed AC two-tier train set, where crucial scenes are currently being filmed. The atmospheric setup hints at an engaging narrative style, blending travel, emotion, and drama.

This collaboration carries added nostalgia, as Trivikram had earlier contributed as a dialogue writer for the beloved Venkatesh starrer Nuvvu Naaku Nachav , a film still celebrated for its wit and charm. Their reunion now, years later, has heightened expectations among audiences eager to see that magic recreated on screen.

The project, officially launched on December 10, 2025, marks the first full-fledged collaboration between the 62-year-old star and the 54-year-old filmmaker. With Srinidhi Shetty playing the female lead, the film is said to be a family drama infused with commercial elements aimed at a summer 2026 release.
