VC Sajjanar Warns Of Strict Action For Stopping Vehicles On ORR

In view of the recent road accidents on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) , Cyberabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar has advised motorists to remain alert. He clearly stated that vehicles must not be stopped on the ORR under any circumstances , except during emergencies such as breakdowns.

In case a vehicle has to be halted due to an emergency, motorists should immediately inform the 14449 helpline and take necessary safety precautions before parking the vehicle in the extreme left lane , he said.

He emphasised that these rules are not limited to the ORR alone , but must be followed on all national highways . Sajjanar urged organisations to create awareness among drivers and staff regarding road safety norms.

Warning of strict action and heavy fines against violators, he said public cooperation is essential to reduce road accidents. He added that passenger safety is the top priority of the police and appealed to everyone to act responsibly and ensure safe travel to their destinations.
