#UPPoliceManthan Trends Globally on X

A social media hashtag linked to the two-day “Police Manthan” conference in Uttar Pradesh topped the global trending list on X on December 28, officials said.

The hashtag #UPPoliceManthan , associated with the conference chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and coordinated by DGP Rajeev Krishna , reportedly generated 1.78 billion impressions , reached 38.6 million users , and received 2.46 lakh views . It remained among the top five global trends from 5:45 pm to 8:45 pm on the platform.

According to an official statement, the surge was driven by statewide police units sharing photographs and videos related to the event, highlighting efforts to strengthen people-centric policing, develop technology-based modern policing, and ensure swift action against crime.

During the two-day conference, over 47,000 posts used the hashtag, reflecting a coordinated promotional campaign by the Uttar Pradesh Police rather than purely organic social media activity, officials noted.

DGP Rajeev Krishna emphasized that the conference aimed to modernize the police force while improving engagement with citizens, underlining the government’s commitment to public safety and effective law enforcement.
