
Uppal MLA Launches Reddy Colony Residents’ Welfare Office
Community activities are picking up pace in Uppal constituency , with local leaders focusing on civic engagement and public welfare. Uppal MLA Bandari Lakshma Reddy inaugurated the newly established office of the Reddy Colony Residents Welfare Association at Chakripuram X Road . After the inauguration, he met with the residents and listened to their concerns regarding neighbourhood issues.
During the visit, the MLA also reviewed the condition of basic infrastructure in the colony. He stated that the government is prioritising improvements in roads, drainage networks, and sanitation facilities in residential areas. He encouraged the association members to stay in regular contact with officials so that local problems can be addressed without delay.
The programme was attended by BRS Division President Mahesh Goud , association representatives, and several local leaders.
Poster Released for ‘Run for She 2026’
On the same occasion, the MLA unveiled the poster for “Run for She 2026,” an event being organised by Uppal Runners to commemorate International Women’s Day . He noted that the run aims to spread awareness about women’s well-being and fitness .
The event will include 5K and 10K race categories , allowing participation from both men and women . BRS leaders, party workers, and numerous residents of the colony were present at the event.
