Unable to implement job calendar: MLA Rajgopal
MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy has demanded that the government fulfill the job opportunities promised to youth in the Congress party manifesto ahead of the Assembly elections in Telangana. On Wednesday, on the occasion of Good Governance Day, he paid tribute at the Amaraveerula Stupa in Gun Park. Speaking to the media afterward, he said that the job calendar promised before the elections could not be implemented and lauded the role of unemployed youth in the Telangana movement. He added that he would act as a bridge between the government and the unemployed.
Rajgopal Reddy stated that the demand of unemployed youth to fill vacancies in government departments is legitimate. He urged unemployed youth not to lose hope and to refrain from protests and dharnas, assuring that if needed, he would meet them at Ashok Nagar Chaurasta, Central Library, or Dilsukhnagar. He also promised to convey their issues to the government. He criticized the BRS government, noting that during its ten-year rule, not a single Group-1 notification was issued. He alleged that under the guise of KCR’s leadership, rampant nepotism and corruption occurred, leaving the state in massive debt.
He stated that justice has not been served to anyone who fought for Telangana and said he would discuss allegations regarding Group-1 with the government. Rajgopal Reddy acknowledged the crucial role of youth in dethroning former CM KCR. He assured that, with the Amaraveerulu as witnesses, he would support the unemployed and fully back their protests. He also emphasized that the Telangana state envisioned by Sonia Gandhi has not materialized over the past decade, but assured that in the coming days, employment opportunities would be provided to all.
