UK Deploys Warship, Helicopters After Drone Strike on Cyprus Base

Britain has strengthened its military posture in the eastern Mediterranean after a drone strike targeted one of its key overseas bases in Cyprus, underscoring rising security concerns linked to escalating tensions in the Middle East.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer confirmed that the United Kingdom is deploying additional military assets to the region following the incident at RAF Akrotiri , located on the southern coast of Cyprus .
