UGC NET Dec 2025 registration opens – Apply now!

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially launched the online registration portal for the UGC NET December 2025 examination. Conducted on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC), the exam determines eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor positions, and Ph.D. admissions in Indian universities and colleges.

Candidates can apply online through the official portal ugcnet.nta.nic.in from 7th October to 7th November 2025 (11:50 PM). The last date to pay the examination fee is also 7th November 2025. Corrections in the application form can be made between 10th and 12th November 2025 (11:50 PM).

The UGC NET December 2025 will cover 85 subjects and be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. Details regarding exam cities, admit card downloads, and shifts will be announced later on the official website.

Application fees:

• General/Unreserved: Rs. 1150

• General-EWS/OBC-NCL: Rs. 600

• SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender: Rs. 325

Important Instructions: Applications are accepted only online, and candidates must submit one application only. Applicants should carefully follow instructions in the Information Bulletin, as non-compliance may lead to disqualification. Valid and accessible email addresses and mobile numbers are mandatory. Aadhaar verification is recommended for smooth registration and JRF processing.
