UGC Complaint Leads to Arrest of Al Falah University Chief in Forgery Case

The Crime Branch of Delhi Police on Thursday arrested Javad Ahmad Siddiqui , chairman of Al Falah University , following complaints filed by the University Grants Commission (UGC) regarding alleged forgery and operational irregularities at the private institution.

The action comes after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) initiated proceedings into the matter. According to police officials, the FIRs were registered after the Red Fort blast , though authorities have not publicly linked Siddiqui directly to the incident.

Siddiqui was produced before a local court, which granted four days of police custody to facilitate further questioning and investigation.
