Two young men found dead in auto in Chandrayangutta, Hyderabad
A shocking incident unfolded early Wednesday morning in Hyderabad when the bodies of two young men were discovered inside a parked auto near Rehman Hotel in Chandrayangutta. Locals who spotted the bodies immediately alerted the police, who rushed to the scene.
According to initial reports, the two men were found under suspicious circumstances, and were later pronounced dead by authorities. Chandrayangutta police officials confirmed that a case has been registered and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of death and gather more details.
This incident echoes a similar tragedy in October, when the body of a woman, estimated to be between 30 and 35 years old, was found near Sri Satya Tiffin and Meals Center opposite Imperial House Apartments in Begumpet. The woman had injuries on her face and body, prompting police to launch a murder investigation.
In the latest case, the owner of a nearby tea stall, Potamchetti Pandu, informed police around 7:20 a.m. about the discovery. Investigators also found a quarter-full liquor bottle and some food items at the scene. Pandu speculated that the men may have been attacked and left in the auto.
Police have registered a case under Section 103(1) of the Indian Penal Code and, with the help of a clues team, are examining the scene. The investigation is being led by Inspector M. Ramakrishna of Panjagutta Police. Authorities are collecting crucial evidence and working to uncover the full circumstances behind the deaths.
