TVK Government’s Industrial Vision to Bring Proactive Economic Changes, Says Speaker

Tamil Nadu Assembly Speaker J.C.T. Prabhakar on Friday highlighted the TVK government's industrial vision, saying the state leadership was committed to bringing about major changes to accelerate industrial growth and economic development.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the Tamizhar 4.0 Global Trade & Business Summit, Prabhakar said recent government announcements reflected a clear intent to bring about an industrial revolution in the state.

He said the upcoming Budget session was expected to introduce proactive economic measures, while noting that the Chief Minister was prepared and eager to implement changes that meet the expectations and aspirations of the people.

Prabhakar also received a 10-point charter of demands from representatives of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector. The demands focus on measures aimed at supporting the growth and development of MSMEs in Tamil Nadu.

According to the Speaker, the industry representatives have sought to bring their concerns and proposals to the government's attention and have also requested a formal meeting with the Chief Minister to discuss the proposed schemes and measures in greater detail.

The Speaker's remarks underline the government's stated focus on strengthening the state's industrial ecosystem and addressing the needs of businesses, particularly MSMEs, which play a key role in employment generation and economic activity.

The Tamizhar 4.0 Global Trade & Business Summit was organised by the Tamilian Trade, Business and Agriculture Council (Tamizhar Thozhil Vaniga Velan Perumandram).
