
TTD Invites CM Chandrababu Naidu to Tirumala Brahmotsavams
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has invited Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to attend the annual Srivari Salakatla and Navaratri Brahmotsavams at Tirumala.
TTD Trust Board chairman B.R. Naidu and Executive Officer Muddada Ravichandra called on the Chief Minister at his residence in Amaravati on Saturday and formally extended the invitation. TTD Vedic scholars were also present and offered Vedic blessings to Chandrababu.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister reviewed the arrangements being made for the Brahmotsavams and sought details from TTD officials on preparations for the major annual religious event.
Chandrababu directed the officials to ensure that devotees face no inconvenience during the celebrations and asked them to make all necessary arrangements well in advance. He stressed the need for particular attention to devotee amenities, crowd management and other arrangements associated with the conduct of the festivities.
The Salakatla Brahmotsavams are scheduled to be held from September 15 to 23 at Tirumala. The festival draws large numbers of devotees, making arrangements for their safety, comfort and smooth movement a key priority for the temple administration.
TTD board members Jyotula Nehru, Panabaka Lakshmi and Janakidevi, among others, were also present during the meeting.
