TTD Donates ₹1 Crore to ‘Sri Balaji Arogya Varaprasadini’ Scheme

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) announced a significant contribution to the ‘Sri Balaji Arogya Varaprasadini’ healthcare initiative. On Sunday, Subbarao Apparels of Chennai donated ₹1 crore towards the scheme. The donation cheque was handed over to TTD Additional Executive Officer Ch. Venkayya Choudary by representatives of the company.

Launched by TTD, the scheme aims to provide devotees and the general public with top-quality medical services through the Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) . Officials stated that the donation would help enhance medical facilities , acquire advanced equipment , and facilitate standard treatment for underprivileged patients at SVIMS.

As the custodian of the world-renowned Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Temple , TTD extends its role beyond spiritual services. Through such donations, it actively supports education, healthcare, and social welfare programs . The TTD management noted that generous contributions from devotees and organizations are helping to implement social welfare initiatives more effectively.
