Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has clarified that there is no disruption in the supply of cooking gas (LPG) for laddu preparation and annadanam kitchens in Tirumala . Officials said devotees can obtain laddus as usual without any restrictions.

Cooking gas for the temple kitchens is supplied by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) . Under TTD’s management of the renowned Sri Venkateswara Temple , laddu preparation and annadanam services are carried out on a large scale every day.

Officials said around 4 lakh laddus are prepared daily in Tirumala , while the number rises to nearly 10 lakh during major festivals such as the Tirumala Brahmotsavam . To support these activities, more than 10 tonnes of LPG are required each day.

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams maintains a 1-week buffer stock of LPG to ensure uninterrupted laddu and annaprasadam preparation. Gas is supplied through pipelines to the laddu preparation centre and the main annadanam kitchen, while LPG cylinders are used at other annadanam centres.

On average, about 75,000 devotees are served meals daily at the main annadanam centre. Altogether, annadanam centres in Tirumala provide food to nearly 2.25 lakh people every day, with the number rising to over 3 lakh during festival days.
