Toxic's Madhosh Sparks Mystery as Yash Romances Tara While Fans Spot Tabaahi Connection
The makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups have unveiled the film's second single, Madhosh (titled Manasaagadhe in Telugu), and while the romantic track showcases the sizzling chemistry between Yash and Tara Sutaria, it has also ignited fresh curiosity over the film's storyline.
Released on July 21, the three minute and fourteen second music video introduces a softer, more playful side of Yash's character, Raya. Unlike the high intensity Tabaahi, which prominently featured Yash alongside Kiara Advani, Madhosh revolves around Raya's easygoing relationship with Tara Sutaria's Rebecca. From a quirky proposal and carefree moments to intimate glances and heartfelt conversations, the song celebrates a romance built on comfort and companionship.
However, it is not just the romance that has grabbed attention. Eagle eyed fans were quick to notice that a visually similar cigar sequence seen in Tabaahi, featuring Yash and Kiara Advani, appears in Madhosh with Nayanthara instead. The parallel visual, combined with Tara Sutaria leading the romantic track, has triggered widespread discussion on social media about how the four lead characters are connected.
Adding to the intrigue, Kiara Advani and Nayanthara make only brief appearances in the song, yet their scenes appear significant enough to fuel speculation about the film's narrative. While fans are debating whether the songs represent different timelines, different relationships or intentionally misleading promotional material, the makers have revealed nothing about the actual storyline, keeping the mystery firmly under wraps.
The multilingual song has been released in several languages. The Telugu version, Manasaagadhe, is composed by Tanishk Bagchi, Arslan Nizami, and Faheem Abdullah, with lyrics by Ramajogayya Sastry and vocals by Siddharth Basrur. Unlike the explosive energy of Tabaahi, the new track leans into emotion and melody, offering a slow burning romantic number that is expected to grow on listeners with repeated plays.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups is jointly produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. The multilingual action drama is set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on August 26, 2026. With Madhosh adding another layer of intrigue instead of revealing answers, the film's biggest mystery may still be the relationships between its four central characters.
