Actor Tovino Thomas led the promotional campaign for the upcoming period drama Pallichattambi with an energetic press meet in Chennai, drawing strong enthusiasm from fans and media alike. The film is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on April 10, 2026.
Set against the backdrop of Kerala in 1957–1958 and inspired by real-life events, the film blends historical storytelling with elements of action and family drama . Speaking at the event, Thomas revealed that the project has been in development since 2018, with principal photography spanning nearly 100 days in 2025. He described the film as a deeply rooted narrative that captures a transformative period in Kerala’s socio-political landscape.

The makers are positioning Pallichattambi as a pan-India offering, with simultaneous releases planned in Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu. The multilingual rollout is aimed at expanding the film’s reach beyond regional boundaries and tapping into a wider audience base.
Music for the film has been composed by Jakes Bejoy, whose score is expected to complement the film’s period setting and dramatic tone.
