The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), one of the world’s largest non-profit networks supporting entrepreneurship, concluded its TiE Global Leadership Summit 2025 in Chandigarh with major announcements and roadmap commitments, setting the stage for its next milestone the TiE Global Summit 2026 in Jaipur.
The Chandigarh summit gathered leaders from 32 TiE chapters across India and the Asia-Pacific region, reinforcing TiE’s mission to democratize entrepreneurship and make startup success accessible beyond traditional metropolitan centres.

The 2025 edition focused on collaboration, inclusivity, and cross-border innovation. According to TiE Global officials, the network now aims to expand to 100 chapters worldwide, building on its five foundational pillars mentoring, networking, education, incubation, and funding.
The three-day event featured discussions on leadership, startup scaling, global investment trends, and technology adoption. Policymakers and business leaders, including representatives from various state governments, emphasized the growing synergy between policy and entrepreneurship. Haryana’s Chief Minister attended the closing session, reaffirming government support for TiE’s initiatives.
Beyond leadership dialogues, the 2025 summit showcased TiE’s flagship competitions designed to promote inclusivity and youth entrepreneurship:
• TiE U Global Finals & Student Entrepreneurship Summit 2025 (Delhi-NCR Chapter): Over 400 students from more than 50 institutions across India and abroad participated. Awards were presented in categories such as Best Business Model, Best Teamwork, and Best Execution. Teams from TiE Seattle, TiE Delhi-NCR, TiE Rajasthan, and TiE Houston reached the global finals, highlighting TiE’s growing global reach among student founders.
• TiE Women Global Pitch Competition 2025: Among the standout winners was Glovatrix, an AI-powered wearable-tech startup from Pune, which will represent its chapter at the global finale during the Jaipur Summit in 2026.
While specific investment figures were not disclosed, the 2025 summit successfully strengthened inter-chapter collaborations and highlighted TiE’s commitment to youth, women, and deep-tech innovation.

Building on this momentum, the TiE Global Summit 2026 will be held in Jaipur from January 4–6, in association with the Rajasthan DigiFest, marking the first-ever TiE Global Summit to be hosted in a tier-2 Indian city.
The event will attract entrepreneurs, global speakers, investors, and startups from over 30 countries, signifying Rajasthan’s emergence as a key innovation hub.
According to official announcements, 170 startups will present their ideas through pitch sessions, startup showcases, and global investor meets. Several competitions including the TiE Women Global semi-finals and finals, TiE University finals, and a Gaming Hackathon will also be held, creating opportunities for startups to secure funding and mentorship.
Themed “Sustainable Innovation in the AI Age - Innovation, Impact & Inclusion,” the summit will spotlight sectors like AI/ML, FinTech, AgriTech, Sustainability, AR/VR, MediaTech, and Higher Education.
