Three injured in crude bomb attack in Bhagalpur, Bihar

Three people were injured after country-made bombs were hurled at them late Saturday night in Bahoriya village , under the jurisdiction of Lodipur police station , officials said on Sunday.

The incident occurred around 11 pm when the victims were returning home after participating in the immersion ceremony of a Goddess Saraswati idol . Police said the attack followed an altercation between the two parties . The accused, two men from the same community as the victims , were arrested shortly after the incident.

Authorities recovered a country-made pistol and materials used in making the crude bombs during raids at the accused’s premises. The victims were immediately taken to a nearby hospital and their condition is reported to be out of danger .

The police have launched a full investigation into the case, and the situation has been described as under control .
