'The Paradise' Promotions Begin: Nani To Tour Chennai, Bengaluru, Kochi And Hyderabad

Nani is finally taking 'The Paradise' on the road. With the intense action drama arriving in theatres on September 24, the actor will begin a promotional tour across Chennai, Bengaluru, Kochi and Hyderabad, giving the film its biggest promotional push just a week before release.

The schedule began in Chennai on September 17, followed by Bengaluru on September 18 and Kochi on September 19. The campaign will then move to Hyderabad, where a grand pre release event is planned for September 21. The sudden promotional activity comes after fans expressed concern over the relatively quiet campaign, with the makers simultaneously racing through the final stages of post production.

The film has now completed its shoot and is moving towards release with its post production work progressing at a brisk pace. The makers have also firmly retained September 24 as the worldwide theatrical release date after rumours of another postponement.

Interestingly, 'The Paradise' will reach theatres without a conventional trailer. Nani confirmed that no theatrical trailer will be released before September 24, explaining that the team wanted to prioritise the film itself and preserve its surprises rather than rush out promotional material.

There is plenty to make audiences curious anyway. The film has received an 'A' certificate from the CBFC and has a reported runtime of around three hours. The certification fits the film's dark and intense world, which promises violence, action and mature themes.

Yet Nani has suggested that the film is not simply a violent action spectacle. Beneath the action lies an emotional mother-son story, with the director attempting to balance the large scale sequences with a personal relationship at the heart of the narrative.

Nani has also addressed some of the wild speculation surrounding the film. The actor dismissed reports about an underwater action sequence and a massive fight involving 1,000 people, while describing 'The Paradise' as the most physically and mentally exhausting film of his career.

The film reunites Nani with Srikanth Odela after 'Dasara'. Nani appears as Jadal, sporting a radically different look, while Raghav Juyal makes his Telugu debut in a negative role. Odela revealed that he spent around eight months looking for the right actor before choosing Juyal and eventually rewrote aspects of the character around the actor's distinctive energy.

Kayadu Lohar plays the female lead, while Mohan Babu and Sonali Kulkarni are also part of the cast. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the music. Keerthy Suresh is associated with the film through the song 'Yeshanagula', which has emerged as another major talking point. The song crossed 100 million views, adding to the growing buzz around the film ahead of its theatrical release.

Adding to the scale is the film's massive production design. The makers have previously unveiled glimpses of sprawling slum sets created for the story, further hinting at the elaborate world Odela has built around Jadal.
