Thaman Announces 'Radhe Shyam' OST Release, 'Daaku Maharaaj' Soundtrack Gets Date

Prabhas’ 'Radhe Shyam' may not have delivered the expected box-office success, but its soulful music and background score continue to enjoy a fan following. Now, composer SS Thaman has brought good news for admirers of the 2022 romantic drama by announcing that its original soundtrack (OST) will be released soon.

Thaman shared the update through his Instagram Story, promising that the 'Radhe Shyam' OST would arrive shortly. Although he has not revealed an exact release date, the announcement has generated excitement among fans who have been waiting to experience the film's background score separately.

Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, 'Radhe Shyam' featured Prabhas and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles. While Justin Prabhakaran composed the songs for the Telugu version, Thaman handled the background score, which emerged as one of the film's appreciated aspects.

Meanwhile, Thaman has also made another promise concerning Nandamuri Balakrishna's 'Daaku Maharaaj'. He has announced that the long-awaited OST will be released on November 16, 2026, coinciding with his birthday.

However, the soundtrack has already faced several postponements. Thaman previously announced release dates in February and March 2025, followed by another promise for January 26, 2026, and subsequently the first week of February. None of these plans materialised. The OST is reportedly expected to feature 27 tracks, making the latest announcement particularly significant for Balakrishna's fans.

On the professional front, Thaman recently worked on Venkatesh's 'Aadarsha Kutumbam', directed by Trivikram Srinivas. His upcoming projects include 'Dada', 'Kaaka' and 'OG 2', among several other anticipated films.

With two much-awaited soundtracks generating fresh interest, fans are now waiting to see when Thaman delivers on his latest promises.
