TGPSC Announces 290 Vacancies, Unveils Plan for Regular Monthly Recruitments

Offering fresh hope to thousands of job seekers, the Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) has announced a new recruitment drive to fill 290 vacancies across key government departments. The notification, released on the occasion of Telangana State Formation Day , is expected to attract engineering graduates and technical professionals seeking public sector employment.

The vacancies are spread across the Roads and Buildings Department and the Telangana Pollution Control Board , covering positions that play a vital role in the state's infrastructure and environmental management sectors. Of the total openings, 222 posts are for Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil) , while 49 positions are for Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical) in the Roads and Buildings Department. Another 19 vacancies have been notified for the post of Assistant Environmental Engineer in the Pollution Control Board.

According to the commission, eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official TGPSC portal. Applicants must be between 18 and 44 years of age as of July 1, 2026 . The application process for Civil AEE posts will begin on June 6 and continue until July 13 , while applications for Electrical AEE posts will be accepted from June 8 to July 15 . For Assistant Environmental Engineer positions, the registration window will remain open from June 10 to July 17 .

The recruitment notification comes as the state continues efforts to strengthen its administrative and technical workforce. The engineering positions are expected to support infrastructure development projects, while the environmental engineering posts will contribute to monitoring and regulatory activities related to pollution control and environmental protection.

In a significant announcement for aspirants, TGPSC said that job notifications would now be issued on a more regular basis. The commission plans to release two to three recruitment notifications every month , moving toward a structured and transparent hiring calendar. The initiative is aimed at ensuring continuous employment opportunities and reducing uncertainty among candidates preparing for competitive examinations.

The commission has urged aspirants to remain focused on their preparation, emphasizing that fresh recruitment opportunities will be announced regularly.
