T'gana leaders express shock over Delhi explosion, demand thorough investigation

Telangana political leaders have expressed deep concern over the recent explosion near Red Fort in Delhi, urging a comprehensive investigation into the incident. Several leaders, including Union Ministers G. Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay Kumar, voiced their condolences over the loss of lives.

Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy posted on X (formerly Twitter) late Monday, stating, “The tragic explosion near Red Fort, Delhi, and the loss of lives is deeply distressing. My heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased, and I pray for a speedy recovery of the injured.”

Bandi Sanjay Kumar described the explosion as “extremely tragic and heart-wrenching.” He noted that, following directions from Union Home Minister Amit Shah, National Security Guard (NSG) and National Investigation Agency (NIA) forensic teams have begun a thorough investigation from all angles. Authorities have also been instructed to review CCTV footage and conduct a complete inquiry.

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi called for a prompt and detailed investigation into the car blast and demanded strict legal action against those responsible. Owaisi, Hyderabad MP, wrote on X, “I am deeply concerned after hearing about the explosion near Red Fort. I pray for the recovery of the injured and strength for the families of the deceased. I hope the law takes strict action against those responsible for this condemnable act.”

Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao also expressed condolences over the loss of lives and extended their heartfelt sympathies to the families affected.
