The Telangana government has taken a significant step to make land administration more transparent and efficient. Revenue, registration, and survey services will now be integrated on a single digital platform under the newly upgraded ‘Bhu Bharati’ portal, aimed at providing citizen-centric services, said Telangana Minister for Revenue and Housing, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy. The enhanced system is expected to be available to the public by January.

As part of the rollout, the minister conducted a surprise inspection of the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration (CCLA) office in Nampally and held a review meeting with officials. He instructed them to modernize the office to corporate-level standards and make visible improvements that benefit the public.

Through the Bhu Bharati portal, farmers and citizens will be able to access comprehensive land information with just a click. Services will include land registration details, mutation status, market value, Record of Rights (RoR), village survey maps, drainage orders, and a feedback mechanism. The portal will also allow mobile login linked to Aadhaar for convenient access. Each survey number will have a dedicated digital map, ensuring detailed and accurate information.

The minister also emphasized that newly constructed tahsildar offices across the state should follow a standardized design model, ensuring uniformity in office layouts.

The review meeting was attended by Revenue Department Secretary D.S. Lokesh Kumar, Stamps & Registrations Inspector General (IG) Rajeev Gandhi Hanumanthu, and CCLA In-Charge Secretary Mandha Makarand, among others. Minister Ponguleti described the portal as a key step toward a digital revolution in land administration in Telangana.
