Territorial Army Announces Rally Recruitment for 716 Soldier Posts

A large recruitment drive for 716 Soldier (General Duty) posts has been announced by the Territorial Army (TA), and the rally is scheduled to be conducted between 28 November and 10 December 2025. The notification has been issued by the concerned TA battalion for Zone-1 Infantry Battalions, covering districts across Haryana and the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

Applications are being accepted offline, as per the procedure followed traditionally for Soldier GD recruitment. Candidates are required to report directly to the rally location, and no online registration is being used for this cycle. The rally will be held at the 105 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army), RAJRIF, Delhi.

According to the notification, candidates who have completed Class 10 with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks and at least 33% in each subject will be considered eligible. For school boards that follow a grading system, a minimum D grade or its equivalent is required in individual subjects, while an overall C2 grade is considered the equivalent of 45%.

The age limit has been fixed at 18 to 42 years, which aligns with the standard eligibility range for Soldier GD positions in the Territorial Army. Pay for selected candidates will be provided under the Level-3 Pay Matrix, corresponding to a range of ₹15,500 to ₹69,400 during service.

The district-wise rally schedule has been released, covering major locations in Haryana such as Rohtak, Kurukshetra, Gurugram, Rewari, Hisar, Fatehabad, Jind, Karnal, and others. A dedicated reporting day has been allotted for NCT Delhi on 10 December 2025.

The selection process will be carried out in multiple phases. Document verification, Physical Fitness Test, written examination, medical evaluation, and the preparation of a final merit list have been prescribed as the mandatory steps. These procedures follow the established recruitment norms of the Territorial Army.

No application fee has been specified, which is consistent with most TA soldier-level rally recruitments. Although the informational website territorialarmy.in has shared the details, it has been noted that the principal government-run portal for TA officer entries is jointerritorialarmy.gov.in. Soldier GD rally notifications, however, are generally issued directly by individual battalions and processed at physical rally locations.
