Tere Ishk Mein , starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, is proving its box office strength even amid stiff competition from Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar. Released on November 28 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, the Aanand L. Rai directorial has crossed an impressive 132.44 crore worldwide in just nine days, solidifying its place as one of the season’s consistent performers.

The film’s Hindi net collections stand at 91.48 crore, with the second week showing strong momentum. Friday brought in 3.74 crore, followed by a 52 percent jump on Saturday to 5.71 crore, reflecting steady audience interest. The Tamil version also contributed 4.01 crore nett, helping the film maintain nationwide traction.

While multiplexes continue to feel the heat of competing releases, mass markets in tier two and tier three cities are driving major footfall, keeping collections stable. The story’s emotional depth, combined with Dhanush’s heartfelt performance and Kriti Sanon’s charm, is drawing repeat viewers, especially in the Hindi belt.

With its current earnings, Tere Ishk Mein has outperformed Dhanush’s previous Hindi hit Raanjhanaa , making it his biggest Bollywood success so far.

In comparison, Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar, which released around the same time, has collected around 61.7 crore net in India and a worldwide gross of approximately 93.7 crore, showing strong opening figures but slightly trailing behind Tere Ishk Mein in overall performance.

Analysts predict that both films will continue to hold audiences through the festive season, with Tere Ishk Mein benefiting from strong word-of-mouth and repeat viewership, while Dhurandhar draws fans of Ranveer Singh’s high-energy action and comedy.
