Tensions in West Asia: Telangana Bhavan in Delhi Sets Up 24/7 Control Room

In view of the escalating tensions in West Asia (the Middle East) , the Telangana government has taken key measures to ensure the safety of its citizens residing in the region. As directed by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy , a special 24×7 control room has been established at Telangana Bhavan, New Delhi , to assist and provide information to those stranded abroad and to facilitate coordination for their support.

Senior officials at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi are in continuous coordination with the Union Ministry of External Affairs and Indian embassies in the concerned countries to assess the latest developments. At present, numerous inquiries are being received from Telangana residents living in West Asia as well as from their family members in the state. In response, the government has initiated special measures to provide timely information and assistance . Through this control room, necessary coordination, guidance, and emergency support will be provided.

Telangana residents currently living in those regions, along with their family members in Telangana, can directly contact the control room in case of travel disruptions, visa issues, or other emergencies . The information received will be immediately communicated to the relevant central government departments and the Ministry of External Affairs to ensure appropriate action through state-level coordination.

The Telangana government continues to monitor the situation and remains prepared to extend assistance in coordination with the Union Ministry of External Affairs as required.
