Telugu Film Industry Should Scale Greater Heights, Says CM Chandrababu Naidu

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has congratulated the winners of the 72nd National Film Awards , while expressing pride over the strong performance of the Telugu film industry across multiple categories.

In a message shared on X on Sunday, the Chief Minister lauded the achievements of Telugu actors, directors, producers, writers and technicians who brought national recognition to the industry through their outstanding work. He said the success of Telugu cinema at the prestigious awards reflects the creativity, dedication and excellence of filmmakers and artists from the region.

Naidu noted that art, culture and cinema are enduring pillars of the state's identity and cultural heritage , adding that the recognition received at the national level is a matter of pride for Andhra Pradesh and Telugu-speaking people. He expressed hope that the Telugu film industry would continue to reach greater milestones in the years ahead and inspire future generations with its talent and innovation.

The Chief Minister also conveyed his best wishes to all award recipients, hoping they would achieve even greater success and earn wider acclaim across the country.

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan also extended his congratulations to the winners of the 72nd National Film Awards , including actors, filmmakers, writers, singers and technical professionals who were honoured this year.

He described the Telugu film industry's success in several categories as a significant achievement. Pawan congratulated Mammootty on winning the Best Actor award for the fourth time and also conveyed his wishes to fellow Best Actor winner Kartik Aaryan and Best Actress Yami Gautam .

Highlighting the Telugu winners, he praised Kalki 2898 AD for being named Best Popular Film , while applauding Nitin Zihani Choudhary for Best Production Design. He also congratulated the team of 35 – Chinna Katha Kaadu , which won the award for Best Children's Film, and Arun Dev Pothula , who was recognised as Best Child Artist.

Pawan further appreciated Sukumar for Best Screenplay for Pushpa 2 , Venky Atluri for Best Dialogues for Lucky Baskhar , and costume designers Deepali Noor and Sheetal Sharma for their national recognition.

He expressed happiness over Committee Kurrollu , produced by Niharika Konidela , being selected as the Best Telugu Film . Pawan congratulated producers Niharika Konidela , Padmaja Konidela , Jayalakshmi Adapaka , and director Yadu Vamsi . He also noted that makeup artist P. Ravikumar , who worked on the film, winning the Best Makeup Artist award brought further honour to the Telugu film industry.

The leaders said the national recognition earned by Telugu cinema reflects the industry's growing influence and its ability to excel on the country's biggest creative platforms.
