
Telangana tourism shines at World Travel Market, London 2025
Telangana Tourism proudly showcased the State’s rich culture, heritage, and travel destinations at the World Travel Market (WTM) London 2025, one of the world’s most influential travel and tourism events.
This year’s WTM, held under the theme “Reinventing Travel in a Changing World,” brought together global tourism leaders, travel professionals, and exhibitors from over 180 countries. Telangana’s vibrant participation stood out, drawing attention to the State’s unique blend of tradition and modernity.
The Telangana Tourism stall highlighted famous attractions such as the Charminar, Golconda Fort, Qutb Shahi Tombs, Kakatiya heritage sites, the serene Ramappa Temple (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), and the natural beauty of Kuntala and Bogatha waterfalls. Special focus was also given to promoting eco-tourism, spiritual tourism, and adventure travel opportunities within the State.
Visitors were treated to colorful displays, interactive digital presentations, and traditional art forms that reflected Telangana’s diverse culture. The vibrant showcase aimed to attract international tourists and investors to explore the State’s growing tourism infrastructure and unique experiences.
Speaking at the event, officials from Telangana Tourism emphasized the State’s commitment to sustainable and inclusive tourism. “Telangana offers something for every traveler - from ancient heritage and festivals to modern urban experiences. We are here to tell the world that Telangana is ready to welcome the future of travel,” one official said.
The participation at WTM London 2025 also helped strengthen Telangana’s global presence and build partnerships with international travel operators, tour agencies, and investors.
