Telangana State Cabinet Meeting Today

The Telangana State Cabinet is scheduled to meet on Friday evening at 4 pm at the Cabinet Meeting Hall in the Dr B.R. Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat in Hyderabad.

According to official orders, Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao has issued instructions to all Special Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and Secretaries of various government departments to be prepared for the high-level meeting.

Although the Cabinet meeting was initially expected to be held on May 21, it was postponed to May 23 in view of the Saraswati Antya Pushkaralu , officials said.

The meeting is expected to focus on several important welfare and administrative matters. The Cabinet is likely to finalise the operational guidelines for the proposed Indiramma Family Life Insurance Scheme , which has been announced as part of the government’s social security initiatives.

Ministers are also expected to deliberate on the launch of new pension beneficiaries and the rollout of the second phase of the Indiramma housing scheme , both of which are proposed to be formally launched on June 2 .

Apart from welfare programmes, the Cabinet is expected to hold detailed discussions on key political and administrative developments in the state and may take several major policy decisions during the meeting.
